The House on Artisan: ORC Week 3

Updated: Oct 25, 2020

Fall 2020

Slowly, but surely everything is coming together! This week I sent out orders and flipped through fabric books. It's bee a little busy, but I'm at least narrowing things down! My tile sample was delayed. I'm hoping to have it Monday so I can get the flooring ordered. In other news my chandelier came in!!!

I'm super excited that my Elise chandelier came in! With 160 crystals it's going to be a little tedious, but it'll be stunning. The frame is a beautiful muted gold, with very subtle and consistent antiquing. The crystals themselves are stunning. They consist of a ribbed rod and swirled tip. They definitely have an antique vibe to them and I am all for it. I cannot wait to get this hung! This item is actually up in the shop! Click here fore more details.

I've been looking high and low for the perfect fabric. There's so many beautiful options, but I think I've narrowed it down a bit. I really wanted with something with a metallic look. I'd love to incorporate that look into the window treatment. I also keep going back and forth between something that's a little more literal and flowery or something more abstract. Hopefully I'll be able to decide when my tile comes in!

Like I said, everything is coming together slowly, but surely! My tile being delayed really pushed the other major selections back. It should move pretty quickly once the tile comes in! In the mean time what's your favorite fabric look? Abstract or literal? Tell me on my instagram page!
