The House on Artisan: ORC the Artist's Garden Week 2
Week 2 of the ORC has arrived! This won't be a super long blog post. We worked really hard and we did get a lot done, but there's not a ton of detail to what we did. Even though it will be short, I still wanted to share an update!
So last week I revealed my concept board and listed everything we'd be doing! This week I wanted to share what we've done!
Say goodbye to this:
And hello to this:
The landscaping has been removed! Don't worry it won't stay this way! We've been looking into getting some help with this because there's a lot that needs to actually be done. Also, we may have broken some of the built-in-sprinkler lines.... Oops... We are debating on removing or repairing those lines, but haven't fully decided.
What else has been done? Well, I think I've found almost everything I need to achieve the look in the concept (scroll to bottom of post). The light fixtures have arrived, rugs are on order, pots, chairs, and curtain rods have been purchased... Curtains were purchased as well, but the cashier at Home Goods only gave me three of the four I put on the counter... So I will have to find new curtains and return what I have.
Pretty much everything is here except a few items and my DIY materials. My goal next week is to at least get the lighting hung, get a few plants potted, and get the DIY materials. We also need to decide if we are going to have help on the landscaping or complete ourselves. In the mean time here are a few more pictures of the landscaping process!
